Charges: The client was charged with three DUIs within fifteen months. He faced mandatory minimum sentences of three days, ninety days and twelve months on the three cases.
Result: The first DUI was initially admitted into ARD, a pre-trial diversionary program. However, the client was revoked from the ARD program as a result of being charged with two more DUIs. The ARD judge agreed to close interest in the ARD case rather than revoke the client from the program saving the client from the increased sanctions that would have resulted from a conviction. The client was successfully admitted into a DUI treatment court program on the second and third DUIs where he will be placed on electronic monitoring, ordered to complete supervised treatment and closely monitored by the court.

Result: Both misdemeanor charges were dismissed. The client pleaded guilty to a summary harassment citation and was assessed a $25 fine.
